March for me is all about spring cleaning. I don’t know about you, but when it starts to get warm, the last thing I want to be doing on the weekends is cleaning. It’s hard to believe that someone with a small one bedroom apartment would have so much cleaning to do, but given that I have a tendency to stack stuff all over the place, it literally takes me a few weeks to get through it all.
The first place I start my spring cleaning is my daughter’s room – starting with her closets (switching out winter for spring/summer clothes), working through the bookshelves/toy boxes to get rid of toys for donation, and finally I finish up by cleaning all the surfaces throughout the room – it is truly an all-encompassing job that usually takes the entire weekend. We use a ton of Windex in our home; all of our downstairs doors (6 in all) are glass and my wife burns a lot of candles, so the doors and windows have to be cleaned daily. Nothing beats a Windex clean on glass!
