Real Housewives of New Jersey stars Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita along with Albie Manzo (Caroline’s son) made an appearance at Duane Reade Herald Square to discuss their newest venture, BLK.
Never heard of BLK, me either. I was super curious as to exactly what it was and how the Real Housewives of New Jersey Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita had to do with the product. According to the company’s website BLK is a natural spring water enriched with Fulvic and Humic Acid that gives it its black hue and its name.
BLK has no calories, no carbs, no sugars, no caffeine and “tastes” like water.
Arriving at the Duane Reade Herald Square, I had the opportunity to taste test BLK before the ladies arrived. And it does look like black water and tastes somewhat like water. For me, there was no aftertaste which is good. But honestly, because I am a lazy water drinker, this product doesn’t appeal to me unless it’s flavored which I am hoping they come out with in the future.
Candace Broom (Mom Most Traveled), Serena Norr (Mama Goes Natural) and I had a chance to chat with both Jacqueline Laurita and Caroline Manzo about their involvement with BLK and what’s up next in their busy lives. For the record, I have only watched their show once but certainly seen enough of the tabloid covers and Bravo TV promos to know who they are. They were both lovely women who were more than happy and gracious to answer our questions and again only seeing the show once, they seemed very genuine in person.
After we finished, the fans had their chance to meet with Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita who signed their bottles of BLK.
