New York City’s Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum is a must see attraction especially for aircraft and history buffs. There is much to do on the USS Intrepid, visitors can ride in the A-6 Cockpit Simulator, visit the Virtual Flight Zone, and tour the inside of the world’s fastest commercial airplane, Concorde, see nearly two dozen aircraft up close and personal on the Flight Deck and much more. And if you are curious about what life is like on a submarine, there are tours aboard The Growler, the only American diesel-powered strategic missile submarine open to the public.
