This week, I had the pleasure of meeting Academy Award Winner and Grammy Award winning recording artist Jennifer Hudson at a listening party for her recording of an original rendition of the bedtime classic “Lullaby and Goodnight” – exclusively available for free download on Pampers Facebook.
To celebrate the release of this exclusive track, which officially launches June 27 to the general public on Pampers Facebook, Pampers hosted a special live “Pampers Lullabies” event at Espace. Pampers rolled out the “teal carpet” for babies and their families who were treated to a special celestial-themed celebration – offering a cozy bedtime-style bonding experience enhanced by music and song.
“Music is my passion and there is no better way to show love for my own two-year old son, David, than through the power of song,” said Jennifer Hudson. “I have lulled my little one to sleep many times with a sweet lullaby – and now, I am so excited to team up with Pampers to create a special version of the most famous lullaby of all time. I hope that other moms and dads will be able to enjoy this song as part of their own night time ritual as they put their baby to sleep. ”

Beginning next month, in addition to being able to download Jennifer’s lullaby recording, parents will also be able to interact with Pampers Lullabies app on Facebook, which will allow parents to create their own lullabies for their babies tapping original Pampers musical tracks, post them to the Pampers gallery for others to view and share them with family and friends! Parents will soon delight in personalizing their own sweet baby serenades with the help of this musical tool.
In keeping with the spirit of saluting the loving bond among families and caring for the happy and healthy development of every baby, Pampers will commemorate the release of this exclusive lullaby by making a special donation to Jennifer Hudson’s charity, the Julian D. King Gift Foundation to benefit moms, toddlers and babies. Pampers will donate $100,000, to the foundation, which provides stability, support and positive experiences for children of all backgrounds and helps them grow to be productive, confident and happy adults.
