When I started blogging in late 2008, I did it for two reasons, I wanted to write about being an adoptive single mom living in New York and learn about social media. That’s it. Nothing more, nothing less. For much of the first year, I lived in my own blogging world and then somewhere along the way, I started meeting other bloggers, being invited to events and of course, became a social media expert.
In 2010, I saw via twitter the hashtag #DisneySMmoms about the Disney Social Media Moms Conference but had no idea what it was and what a big deal it was. Now two years later, I find that I have somehow made it on the invite list. As someone who has been to many conferences over the years, I am excited and can’t wait to see what Disney has in store for us but I also must admit that I am super excited to be meeting some amazing influential bloggers in person, to network and make connections.
