Yesterday, thanks to our former babysitter J, we were invited to a Obama for America Family Game night event with guests New York Giants Victor Cruz with special guest the First Lady Michelle Obama. I must admit I was excited although I knew that we would not get an photo with her since that would be reserved for the donors who paid $5000 per host. That said, I do think that for $150 which is the lowest amount (no bowling), it is pretty inexpensive way to see the First Lady up close. My daughter did get to meet her after her remarks as this was family night and kids of course take precedence. Because of the crush of the people I could not get a good shot of her hugging the first lady. Oh Well, my daughter attitude was next time, let’s hope.
Anyway I was excited to see her in person and will go down as one of the thrills of my life next to actually being witnessed to her husband being sworn in as President.
