Adoption and the Family Conference – For over 28 years, Ametz Adoption Program of the Jewish Child Care Association has been helping singles and couples of all religious and cultural backgrounds pursue domestic and international adoptions.
The annual Adoption and the Family Conference is the highlight of the year, when Ametz showcases its programs, collaborations, and resources throughout the adoption community. This year’ conference begins with the KEYNOTE: ADOPTION THROUGH THE GENERATIONS, with Adam Pertman, Executive Director of the Evan B. Donaldson Adoption Institute.

Speakers include Dr. Jane Aronson (“pediatrician to the stars”), Rebecca Harris (joint Council on International Children’s Services), Sam Pitkowsky (President, Adoptive Parents Committee-NYC), Ametz staff members, members of the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys, adult adoptees, birth parents, and adoptive parents.
