10 Things to See and Do in Coney Island This Summer
Summer in New York would not be Summer without a visit to Coney Island, recognized as the home to the birthplace of the American amusement park. Whether you live here or visiting, a day trip to Coney Island will keep you pretty busy. You will love, it your kids will love it because there is so much to do, see and eat.
I hope you will take a day out of your busy summer schedule to head to Coney Island, you will be happy you did. Now we just have to plan our trip.

2. Take in America’s number one pastime and watch the Brooklyn Cyclones
3. Enjoy a a movie on the beach during the Flicks on the Beachside Film Series (July- August)
4. The sky will light up with Friday Night Fireworks (June – August)
5. The world famous Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog Eating Competition takes place on July 4th
6. Sand artists can watch the Annual Coney Island Sand Sculpting Contest
7. Be daring and ride The Cyclone Rollercoaster, the only wooden rollercoaster in the US and New York City landmark since 1927
8. Relax at Tom’s Restaurant Coney Island, serving breakfast (all delicious) all day plus there is actually seating and you can charge your phones. Everyone will love their meal sitting in a cool atmosphere.
9. Amusement park lovers, don’t miss Luna Park and Deno’s Wonder Wheel Amusement Park. Recommendations- Buy the Unlimited Ride Card and for those with older kids, the unlimited rides does not include Extreme Rides or the carousel.
10. Be amazed at the beautifully restored and historic B&B Carousell located in the Steeplechase Plaza
