This past weekend, my daughter and I had the pleasure of walking the Red Carpet (or should I say the Green Carpet) for the New York premiere of Epic starring Beyonce, Colin Farrell, Amanda Seyfried, Aziz Ansari, Pitbull, Josh Hutcherson, Chris O’Dowd, Christoph Waltz and Jason Sudekis.
We arrived pretty early way before the stars who were going to attend but it was still fun to watch the paparrazi and film crews setting up on the Red Carpet. I thoroughly enjoyed actually walking the carpet because you could tell the paps were annoyed and confused as to who we were and why we were having our photo taken.
I loved having our photo taken on the red carpet, it really is a rush. Of course, I think it would be too hilarious to hear,”turn right, turn left, look over here” which is what you hear if you actually are near any of the paparrazi on the Red Carpet. It really is just like what you see on the entertainment shows. Lots of screaming men and women trying to get the “shot” you see in the newspapers and magazines.
Once we got into the beautiful and majestic Ziegfield Theatre (located on 54th and 7th Avenue), we were treated to Epic The Movie themed popcorn and soda cups and my daughter’s favorite, Epic Cupcakes by our favorite cupcake maker Baked by Melissa.
Once we settled into our seats, I headed back out onto the Red Carpet and hung out with Rebecca Levey from Kidz Vuz.Com whose daughters were conducting interviews of the stars. I left my daughter with gaynycdad.com‘s son, two blogger kids enjoying themselves.
I was able to get these great shots of some of the stars attending the premiere.
