Looking for a day trip, then head to Woodstock, New York. Yes, Woodstock of the the music festival fame. I learned that Woodstock wasn’t even in Woodstock but held in Bethel, New York.
Today, Woodstock, New York is the home to adorable art galleries, vegan restaurants, flea markets and shops that sell unique wares from candles to books to hippie gear to recycled 33 records and more.
With only being approximately two hours (by car) from New York City, you will enjoy spending the day wandering one the most famous small towns in the country.
Visit Woodstock Chamber of Commerce for information on bed and breakfasts, calendar of events and more.
