2012 Year in Review – Celebrity Meet Ups from Jessica Alba to Vince Vaughn

From a blog perspective, 2012 has been an amazingly productive year for which I am grateful to all the opportunities I have had but also being able to provide some great giveaways to my readers. From a personal perspective, my daughter and I have had some fun experiences and accomplishments from starting the 4th grade to my getting an amazing job that I love.

Here is a look back at 2012 and I look forward to a bigger and better 2013. And first item on my list of to dos, is get a new wardrobe. Looking through my photos, Yikes, I am wearing the same two dresses in most of the photos.

January

Met Jessica Alba at the launch of her latest project The Honest Co.

April Visited the City of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia for an action packed few days from the Liberty Bell to Betsy Ross’s House to the Please Touch Museum, Franklin Institute and so much more.

Met blogger, author and funny Jill Smokler  aka Scary Mommy   My daughter was featured in segment on the Today Show with Kathie Lee Gifford and guest host Billy Ray Cyrus.

  Interviewed best selling recording artist Monica

Was invited to Disney World  as Disney Social Media Moms conference, my first invitation.

Filmed my first PSA for the rBaby Foundation  which is an organization to improve pediatric emergency rooms throughout the country.

Interviewed Melissa Rivers (yes, Joan Rivers’ daughter) for the launch of her Cool People line.

Ran with Jenny Craig spokesperson and Hot in Cleveland Star Valerie Bertinelli American Heart Association New York Heart Walk/Run

July

My daughter and I met Academy Award winner Jennifer Hudson

Met Soleil Moon Frye 

Interviewed former 90210 star Jennie Garth.

 

August

Met Gold Medal Winners and Tennis Doubles Champions The Bryan Brothers

  Head to BlogHer 12 which was a whirlwind of networking, parties and one celebrity meeting, Kate Gosselin

Co-hosted a Twitter Party “Succeeding as Single Parent” with The Motherhood

September

Walked in my very first Fashion Show strutting down the runaway the Fashion Forward Conference

October

Attended my first movie premiere in Los Angeles – Check me out at the Frankenweenie Premiere at the El Capitan in Hollywood as well interviewed theyoung cast of the movie Charlie Tahan (voice of “Victor Frankenstein”); Robert Capron (voice of “Bob”) and Atticus Shaffer (voice of “Edgar ‘E’ Gore”)

 I also recorded the voice of Vanellope from Wreck-It Ralph and interviewed the director Rich Moore.

Met New Jersey Housewives Jacqueline Laurita and Caroline Manzo

Enjoyed  Thanksgiving at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

December

Enjoyed the holidays with friends and family in New York City.

Went on the set of Delivery Man starring Vince Vaughn and Cobie Smulders and had a delightful conversation with both stars. Interview will be forthcoming in 2013

And to cap off the end of 2012, I will be headed to friend’s house for a party and taking part in the Emerald Nuts Run commencing at midnight.
