Headed to Atlanta, then don’t miss the World of Coca-Cola. I am serious. I will admit that yes, I love Coke and always have and always will continue to drink it (for the record, I drink it occasionally.) So when the opportunity came to visit the World of Coca-Cola, I said, “of course” because Coca-Cola is truly an iconic global brand. For those not in the know, Coke is based in Atlanta.
And I think the Coke people have done an amazing job of developing the museum. The World of Coca-Cola is located in downtown Atlanta, across from Centennial Olympic Park and the Georgia Aquarium.
What can you do at the museum?
- Visitors can learn about legend of the secret formula for Coca-Cola and see the vault where the formula is secured in our Vault of the Secret Formula and No, they won’t tell you what’s in it.
- Be able to taste over 60 different beverages from around the globe in the Taste It! beverage lounge. The kids loved tasting drinks from all over the world. Some were so much better than others. What I liked about the Beverage lounge is that the kids learned that different countries have different palates and Coke develops drinks based on a country’s taste buds.
- Visitors can watch a fully-functioning bottling line in Bottle Works, and take home a FREE 8-ounce bottle of Coca-Cola
- See the world’s largest collection of Coke memorabilia in Milestones of Refreshment. There are artifacts, posters, from all over the world. When you walk through this section, it really hits you how iconic and global Coca-Cola is.
I really loved walking through the museum. It’s just a lot of fun. And don’t forget to have your photo taken with the Coca-Cola Polar Bear.

She will love it, I did not mention this in the post but the store is totally fab. You will see branded clothes you will not see anywhere else.
