The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is one of the events one always remembers.
I hope that if you come to New York City during Thanksgiving that you make the effort to see it.
The one huge tip I learned is that if you go to the beginning of the parade around 77th Street and Central Park West, that even though you are out there at the crack of dawn, the parade will be over by 9:30 not noon as you would expect.
That’s because the performers don’t sing and dance until they get to the intersection of 34th and Broadway where the television crews are positioned.
