America’s Got Talent viewers may remember iLuminate, a troup that wowed the audience with performances in their groundbreaking light suits. Well since their appearances on on America’s Got Talent, they have performing around the world and now have returned to New York with their latest endeavor, iLuminate Artist of Light show which my daughter and I had a chance to review this past week.
Artist of Light,” tells the story of Jacob, a talented young artist who struggles to connect with the real world. He takes comfort in his magical paintbrush, which grants him the power to turn the characters of his imagination into living, breathing creatures.
Artist of Light is one of the shows that is one worth seeing for its creativity, the music, the dancing, the artistry, its originality and the ‘Wow” factor. This is type of show that kids will love for the “how’d they do that” moments. The choreographer has done an amazing job of creating a unique world full of floating objects and illuminating specific parts of the body to create special effects.
And I can’t not mention that dancing and the actors who portray the characters. All done so well offering a unique style that comes across to the audience. This is show that will appeal to all ages, even older folks. The music is very contemporary and expertly chosen.
Would I recommend this show? YES! iLuminate Artist of Light is a unique and unforgettable theatrical experience for all ages.
Not only is a fantastic show, there is a meet and greet with the stars of the show, so don’t leave before having your photo taken with the performers. Trust me your kids will love it!
