Little Orphan Annie, one of the most popular musicals comes back to Broadway in an all-new production. Despite her impoverished 1930’s New York City life, Annie’s positive outlook and charming personality along with her adorable best pal dog, Sandy still appeals to today’s audience. Stepping into the title role of Annie, Lilla Crawford stars as the world’s favorite orphan and does an phenomenal job of singing her heart out. She definitely brings a talent to Broadway that brings the house down. Ms. Crawford may be a kid but oh, can she fill a stage.
Two-time Tony Award® winner Katie Finneran as the evil Miss Hannigan is a standout for her devilish humour. She may be the villain but she is pretty darn funny. And Anthony Warlow as the blustery but big-hearted billionaire Daddy Warbucks is fantastic. My daughter and I loved the show, from the beautifully decorated and opulent sets to the famously familiar songs by Tony Award® winners Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin to the entire young cast of orphans (Georgi James, Emily Rosenfeld, Junah Jang, Taylor Richardson, Madi Rae DiPietro and Tyrah Skye Odoms) to the wonderfully choreographed scenes. Of course, we couldn’t help but sing a few tunes on the ride home.
Don’t miss the all new production of Annie. And if you want to learn more about New York City in the 1930s, visit thirteen.org/annie.

Today, I went to the beach front with my children. I found a sea shell and
gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.”
She put the shell to her ear and screamed.
There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go
back! LoL I know this is totally off topic but I had to tell someone!
